It is circular in shape and the base has been raised by hand and has a slight hammer finish pattern. It has a piped lined decoration around the rim of the base and also around the top of the removable sconce and the base of the central stem. It has a circular shape loop handle and a large cone shaped snuffer attached to a chain which also has the piped lined decoration around the circular base rim. In addition to the hallmarks it also has the extra Silver Jubilee mark. It is made from a good guage of silver and is very heavy and has clear hallmarks. Makers Marks: FW (Possibly Frank Wood)

Dimensions: It is 6.75 inches in diameter (7.5 inches wide including the handle) and 2.75 inches tall. The snuffer is 3.5 inches tall and the base is 2 inches in diameter. The sconce is 2.5 inches wide and the diameter of the hole for the candle is 1 inch. It weighs an impressive 458g (but this includes the silver coloured chain)

Condition: It is in very good condition

Remarks: This is a lovely large, heavy and impressive solid silver chamberstick complete with snuffer that would be useful in any home that would make a super display item for any sideboard, table etc.

This is a very good Pair of Sterling Silver Candlesticks. They have V shaped stems and have a banded decoration around the rims, the top of the bodies and on the circular filled bases. They both have clear hallmarks.

Silver Makers Marks: B & Co (W I Broadway & Co)

Dimensions: 5.25 inches tall, the diameter of the base is 2.75 inches and the diameter of the sconce is 1.5 inches. They weigh a total of 420g but the bases are filled

Condition: Overall they are both in good condition with just some minor dings to the base edges but these are minor

Remarks: A very good pair of solid silver candlesticks that would look impressive on any table.

Dimensions: Just over 3 inches tall and the diameter of the bases are just under 3 inches. They weigh a total of 350g but the bases are filled

Condition: They are in very good condition with just a couple of little digs to the rim of the base on one but this is minor, the other one is very good

Remarks: A very good pair of solid silver short candlesticks, ideal for a desk, bedroom or they would enhance any dinner table and would not be intrusive

This is a very good Pair of Solid Silver Candlesticks. They are of a very stylish shape which I can best describe as the body having two cone shapes with the narrow ends meeting in the middle. They have a lined decoration to the top of the sconces and to the top and base of the bodies. They have a lined decoration around the top of the bodies, the the rim of the sconcees and the circular pedestal filled bases.

Identifying Marks: Each are stamped with the Half Moon Crown 800 (and there is another letter which I cannot make out). There is also the word "Schmedding" stamped on each one.

Dimensions: 14.5 inches tall and the bases are 8.25 inches wide. They weigh a total of 1130g and this is the actual weight of silver as they are not weighted. They are actually hollow.

Condition: There a few very minor dings and light scratching which is only to be expected on metal items and commensurate with age and use

Remarks: These is a very ornate and decorative pair of large German silver candlesticks that would look impressive in any home. My husband has taken a fancy to these and wants to keep them if they do not sell
